Office Information

What To Expect:

During our initial meeting, I will ask questions regarding the concerns that have brought you in along with background information.  At the end of the meeting, I will share with you my impressions and ideas for our work together.  The following sessions will be focused on learning skills and tools to address your concerns, improve your well-being, and maintain your success.  In addition to the in-session work, you will be asked to apply the things you are learning in your daily life.  It is in the act of living that we can create change for ourselves.  In preparation for the sessions ending, we will discuss ways to prevent lapsing back into unhealthy patterns and how to anticipate and prepare for challenging future events.  Many people prefer to gradually reduce the frequency of sessions over time.  Also, some people like to attend a "booster" session every now and then to maintain their skills.  Most people find their therapy experience to be highly satisfying.
